Introductory Information Data Filename: Business_Journals_Data_Sharing.csv Data File Description: These data were collected to assist in the preparation of an original research article for the Journal of Business and Finance Librarianship. The article sought to provide a fundamental understanding of the current data sharing trends within business research journals, as evidenced by the journalÕs guidelines for article submission. Data collected include journal title, submission guidelines URL, journal publisher, Data Sharing Mark, Recommended Sharing Method, Reproducibility or analogous concept Mark, Open Access Mark, Data Sharing Policy, Research Data Policy, and Data Availability Statement. For each title, the investigators examined the Guidelines for Submission for authors submitting articles to the journal and evaluated the guidelines against a rubric that was developed for this study. Quality Assurance: A subsample of six journals was evaluated by both investigators individually, and any differences in scoring were discussed and reconciled. This was done to provide a degree of internal validity. The remaining 140 titles were then split between the two investigators and assessed individually.
